Lots to look forward to :)

Not a whole lot has changed since my last post, but here's what has:

1. Dax's last living grandparent (his dad's mom) fell Tuesday around noon and broke her hip into about 3-4 pieces. She had surgery on Wednesday around 2pm. The doctor said she might not make it through due to only 40% of her heart in good working order, but she made it through the surgery :) Praise the Lord! She'll be in the hospital for a few more days, but should make a full recovery!

2. Dax's little nephew plays for the Barboursville Little League baseball team (not sure of the age), and he had a game last night against Mason County. Dax and I went, and his nephew's team won -- 17-0! they ended up ending the game at the top of the 4th due to the score. Then today, Dax went and helped pitch to his nephew's team since they will be facing C-K tomorrow, and they have a left-handed pitcher.

3. Next week, my family and I will be headed to Florida to get ready to sail the ocean blue for a whole week! We will be visiting Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman Islands; and Ochos Rios, Jamaica! I cannot wait!

4. I go tomorrow to get my hair cut (not very short, but enough to cut the dead ends off). The new trend that is going around is to get a feather in your hair. I think they glue it to your hair, and it lasts for about 3 months. You can wash it, dry it, straighten or curl it, etc. Instead of doing that, I bought a clip-in one that I can take out whenever I want, and it should last longer than 3 months :)

5. I also go tomorrow to the doctor for my post-operative appointment. I think I forgot to mention that I got my tonsils out 3 weeks ago in my last post, so here it is! I've had three horrible throat infections since the beginning of this year. One infection was so bad that I missed an entire week of classes and lost 10 pounds because I couldn't eat/swallow!! Mom took me to see Dr. Roa, and he automatically suggested that I get them taken out. The pain wasn't as bad as the week that I missed classes, but I still lost about 5-7 pounds. Most of the pain is gone, but it still hurts to yawn.

I guess that's enough for you guys to read for now...enjoy!
