snow days are over for me....

yesterday was a very crazy day. around 4pm i went to G.D. Ritzy's and the roads were clear. no sign of snow anywhere! i made it home and after being home for 20 minutes, realized that the ground was comletely COVERED in snow...and it was coming down hard! last night, grades k-12 had a 2-hour delay, then this morning school was cancelled. so before i went to class, i had to drive trevor to memaw and papaws house with his sled and a change of clothes so he could enjoy is day off...lucky! oh, and we're supposed to get even MORE tonight...hopefully this time they'll cancel classes for marshall :)

"when i grow up..."

i was driving home from school the other day and happened to look up and see the Cabell Huntington Hospital helicopter flying above me and it got me thinkin'...I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF NURSE I WANT TO BE!!!!!!!!! so i thought about it for a while and decided that i didn't want to have the same exact routine every single day. im not a fan of repetitiveness (i think that's why i don't like retail unless im working the cash register because if i'm working the floor, im just folding things over and over and over, but at the cash register, you never know what things people will buy), so i think that i am going to try to become a nurse in......THE EMERGENCY ROOM! eek, i know, but i have a feeling that i won't be bored in that area. yes, there may be a few "idiots" who will yell at me because they've "been waiting for 2 hours", but i think that i would really enjoy the atmosphere. now i think i just need to go do some clinicals first before i really dive into this because when i was watching then sew up trevor's knee from his fall in the yard, i had to sit down or i was going to pass out, but the reason for that could have been that it was my brother and i don't want them to hurt him or something. i've heard surgeons say that they wouldn't be able to operate on their loved ones so maybe it's the same? i dont know. i guess we'll have to see!!!!!!

IT'S BEEN WAYY TOO LONG!!

wow i can't believe i havent posted anything since practically my birthday! that's crazy...and unacceptable! haha so im going to start blogging more often and keep everyone updated with my life!

well last week, i started back to college. the classes i have this semester are going great (so far!) the only assignment that i had due last week was a crossword puzzle in sociology.

i just realized that i havent posted my classes on here yet! WOW it has been a long time!

Sociology - MWF 10-10:50am
English - MWF 12-12:50pm
Chemistry - MW 2-3:15pm
Physiology - TTh 11-12:15pm + lab - Th 1-3:50pm
Safety - TTh 4-5:15pm

it's not too bad of a schedule. i like it :)
now if only it wasn't so cold outside!!!!

speaking of it being so could outside, i was walking to class friday morning (which is only about a 6-minute walk) and my orange juice froze in my mug!! that's how cold it was (approximately 6 degrees).
OH!! my sister, her bridesmaids, her mom, and my mom all went to David's Bridal yesterday to find the bridesmaids' dresses for her wedding and after a couple hours, she finally found what she wanted!!! we all had fun yesterday. one of katelyn's bridesmaids recently became pregnant and when it comes time for katelyn and curt to get married, she'll already be 6 months into her pregnancy, so to make sure that the dresses katelyn had in mind would fit over a pregnant belly, one of us had to put on the "pregnant pillow". yes, david's bridal has such a thing called a pregnant pillow, and it is absolutely hilarious! we finally found one that would work and it looks gorgeous on everyone! im not going to post pictures because i dont know if katelyn wants everyone to see them yet or not. if i get the OK, then i will post some :)

well, i guess that's all for now. here are some pictures that i photoshopped:
